Rajeev Gandhi College of Pharmacy (RGCP) was set up in the year 2004 at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh is a known institution. This affiliated college provides pharmaceutical education and research services and has various programs in to pharmacy. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has approved the education at RGCP. To meet these demands, RGCP has good IT setup with 50 computers connected to internet and having software for subjects such as Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, QSAR and Pharmacokinetics. The campus houses internet facility with Wi-Fi enabled connectivity with a bandwidth of 16 Mbps which helps in searching for information. Tentatively, the college to offer accommodation to the students, separate hostels exist for boys and girls. It has a canteen, which is open to the public, sporting facilities, a swimming pool and fully furnished practical laboratories. Fully equipped with a large halls for gatherings, meetings, conferences and seminars, musicals and plays. The college is also supportive of student health through a health center that is equipped with first aid facilities; the college also has transport services to ferry students and working staff. On a whole Rajeev Gandhi College of Pharmacy offers a total of three full time programmes in the different levels of pharma education. These are a two years Diploma in Pharmacy ( D.Pharma ), four years Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), and two years Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics (M.Pharma Pharmaceutics). The total approved intake for all courses is 156; 60 for both D.Pharma and B.Pharma , and 36 for the M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics. These different programs ensure that students are able to follow their desired course of study to diploma level or postgraduate level thus fulfilling the careers they would wish to practice in the pharmacy.
