Purna Chandra College of Education, Jhargram was set up in 2014 as a co-educational College to cater the needs of teacher education. Ed) course with an intake capacity of One Hundred students only which prepares a candidate for the teaching profession mainly at secondary and higher secondary level. The course, Diploma in Elementary Education (D.el.ed) takes 50 students for teaching in primary and upper primary schools.
