Overview

PT LR College of Education, Faridabad, has been in operation since 2010 and is one of the popular teacher training institutes located in the Fathpur Billoch area of the Haryana state. This is a co-educational institution affiliated to an NCTE-approved college, maintaining quality education in the teaching profession. It has 10 dedicated educators on the faculty with a focused curriculum in teacher education. The college has several amenities to meet the needs of the students for learning. The library serves as a knowledge centre that provides much-needed resources to budding teachers. There are well-equipped departmental laboratories where practical experience exposes students to the real feel of theoretical concepts in simulated classroom environments. A very fine IT infrastructure in the college exposes the student to modern technologies of education and helps him or her fit in conveniently in the emerging digital world of teaching. This is followed by the arrangement of sports facilities ensuring physical fitness and team-building skills. The college auditorium is a place for seminars, cultural functions as well as academic meetings that add up to the vibrancy of the campus life. PT LR College of Education provides only the teachers' training; it has a compact, complete-time, 2-year long B.Ed program. The exclusive structure assures that the institute will entirely apply properly channelled resources and efficiently trained teachers. Being a program with a sanctioned intake of 100 seats, there are, of course, rich opportunities available for aspiring teachers to turn their desires into reality. Maintaining a good student-faculty ratio by the college testifies to the focus on attention with quality in the mode of imparting education. Admissions at PT LR College of Education are fairly done transparently and strictly based on directions issued by the concerned university.
