The PSN Institute of Technology located at Kanyakumari-2007 is an affiliated college situated in the scenic district of Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu. It is an enormous campus extends over 10.45 acres and has been producing the future engineers for the past 13 years. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE New Delhi, the college has exclusively diploma courses in different branches of engineering. PSN Institute of Technology has a total enrolment capacity of 482 students and faculty of 59 which fulfill the requirement of overall physique of a college. The institute has maintained the quality of education destination by providing eight specialised diploma programmes. Currently PSN Institute of Technology possesses a number of features with a primary aim of improving the general learning of the students. A resource centre which is a modern library acts as a major knowledge base source of information to the students. For those interested in sporting activities, the college has good provision to develop capacities for sports and relevant team spirit. Information technology systems in the campus are well developed as this prepare the students with the current technologies in the world. The college population is provided with all their food requirements by a cafeteria and all their event and seminar requirements by an auditorium. There are eight diploma courses available at PSN Institute of Technology all of which are, full time. The academic courses offered in the institute are as follows, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering , Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Sandwich and Mechanical Tool and Die Engineering. These programmes are aimed at providing students with appropriate knowledge and necessary skills for effective career start and practice in engineering field.
