Ponnammal College of Education, Kangayam is a reputed teacher training college located in the Tamil Nadu, part of the South Indian region of India that followed the establishment of the college in the year 2005. This co-educational college affiliated to a university is under section 2(f)&12(B) of the U.G.C act 1956 and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located on a 135,000 square meter piece of land, the college has three programmes in education. The college enrolls a total of sixty-seven students and a faculty of twenty-five, thus maintaining a fairly good students to faculty ratio of 59:25. For B.ED programme entry is through the policy of state government, UT administration as well as Hamnah University. The admission process of the M. Ed programme is also the same with the additional criterion of any other identification criterion as per the government Norms or the university policy. D.EI.Ed programme also follow merit based system of admissions as provided by state government or UT Administration.
