Prof. Dr. N.D. Patil Mahavidyalaya, Kolhapur, was set up in 1992 as an affiliated college situated in Malakapur-Perid, Shahuwadi Taluka, Kolhapur District, Maharashtra State. The institute is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, and offers a wide range of undergrad as well as master's degree courses. The college occupies a large plot of 7.68 acres and has a total complement of 915 students, with slightly more male students (50%) than female (50%) students. The institute currently uses 28 faculty members and four degree programmes in the Arts , Commerce, and Science faculties. Prof. Dr. N.D.
