Om Jee Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college which came into existence in 2013 in Gaura, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. This institution, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, offers undergraduate and diploma courses. Having 90 students along with 7 faculties, this college is capable of offering an individualised faculty-student ratio. Om Jee Mahavidyalaya offers three courses : BA, B.Ed, and D.El.Ed to fulfil the student’s desire in taking arts and education. This has taken the total student enrolment to 620 in different courses offered in the institution. For the B.Ed programme, therefore, the students are able to be admitted based on the merit of their current performance in the qualifying exams as well as an entrance exam. The methods of sample selection are done according to the policies established by the state government, U.T. administration or the affiliated university, if any. Likewise, for the D.El.Ed programme, admission is made on merit through marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or any entrance test as per the policies of the state government/UT administration.
