Om Institute of Architecture and Design, Hisar, or OIAD, is an esteemed institute which was established in the year 2010 with a particular architectural education system. OIAD is an affiliated college approved by Council of Architecture and offers two specialised degree programmes in Architecture. Both courses are regular full-time classes that inculcate full knowledge and practical skills in architecture among the students. Like the B.Arch courses, the selection of the students is done based on their performance in the national level entrance exams like JEE Main and NATA . GATE scores normally are considered while admitting to the M.Arch course. These ensure that only those students with promising potential are admitted to OIAD who have the right aptitude for architectural studies. The admission procedure here at OIAD is quite comprehensive and strictly on a merit basis. To become eligible for admission to B.Arch courses a student needs to qualify JEE Main or NATA, it is an entrance test designed to test one's mathematical skills, drawing, and general awareness.
