National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra, located in the Kangra Valley embarked on its journey in 2009. Since its inception, NIFT Kangra has emerged as a significant contributor to the textile, apparel, lifestyle accessories, and fashion communication industries. A range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various facets of fashion and design are offered at NIFT Kangra. NIFT Kangra is a campus of the National Institute of Fashion Delhi. Courses at the NIFT Kangra include a Bachelor of Design ( B.Des ) in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Fashion Communication along with a B.F.Tech ( BFT ) in Apparel Production, Master of Design ( M.Des ) and Master of Fashion Management ( MFM ). NIFT Kangra campus area: The 27-acre campus of NIFT Kangra offers a host of amenities and facilities to enhance students’ overall experience. Admissions at NIFT Kangra are based on NIFT scores. NIFT Kangra cutoff 2026 - The opening and closing ranks in round 1 for Fashion Design is 818 and 1849, for Textile Design is 1878 and 2843, Apparel Production is 375 and 826. NIFT Kangra admissions are entrance-based. The facilities at the National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra include well-equipped laboratories, complete Wi-Fi coverage and a spacious resource centre to support academic endeavours. The National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra campus also features a gymnasium, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, international-standard courts for badminton, basketball and volleyball, along with table tennis and snooker tables. NIFT Kangra fees for BDes is Rs 13.97 lakhs. Additionally, there are NIFT Kangra facilities for organic farming led by NIFT Kangra staff, emphasising community engagement.
