National Institute of Computer Arts, Mumbai (NICA Mumbai) is a foremost institute for Arts and computers which is specifically designed to cultivate creative art in the field of computer arts. This institute, a blend of technical skills with an artistic bent, is situated in the pulsating city of Mumbai. The campus of NICA Mumbai is located at Bhavani Shankar Marg near Dadar Kabutar Khana; hence, the students have resources of the city’s cultural life around them. National Institute of Computer Arts has a library that provides the concentration, which is acting as a source centre for books, journals, and digital or web-based materials for computer arts and design courses. The institute boasts of a well-developed Information Technology infrastructure which is essential in offering programmes in digital arts. Accurate computer facilities and software enable learners to use techniques familiar to working professionals. Also, NICA realises that students have lots of work, and their group and all our classes contain sport facilities for the improvement of the students’ physical conditions and creating team spirit. As of now, National Institute of Computer Arts provides two full-time courses that deal with more or less all the aspects of digital arts. The Diploma in Multimedia Design takes two years to complete and has an approved student enrolment of 15 students, and the Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design takes one year. In general, these programmes are intended to provide students with knowledge of the theory and practice in the chosen subject areas.
