National College of Nursing, Barwala was established in the year 2008. This affiliated college is located in Haryana - India, on a 12-acre campus. The institution runs various courses in nursing at the Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels, with an intake of 400 students while the faculty strength is 40. The National College of Nursing, Barwala, provides comprehensive learning to the aspiring nurse by emphasizing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed in the field of health care. The institution is fully facilitated with all amenities for the overall growth of the students. The library is well-equipped with almost 3,000 volumes of the latest editions on various subjects. Besides, it subscribes to 10 national and international journals. The classrooms in the campus are spacious, well-ventilated, fitted with audio-visual teaching aids like overhead projectors, and LCD displays. The college also has departmental laboratories for practical training. In-campus, there is a health centre that has first-aid facilities. Other facilities include canteen, sports facilities, and auditorium for events and seminars. The college also extends the use of the gym for the physical fitness of students. Transportation is facilitated by two 40-seater buses for clinical visits and other purposes. It offers 7 courses across 3 streams namely Nursing at Undergraduate and Post Graduate degree levels. The college offers regular full-time courses in Nursing: ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery), BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and different MSc Nursing streams.
