Nalini Devi Women’s College of Teachers Education in Bhubaneswar city of Odisha state of India, is one of the prestigious colleges aimed at building up the educators of the future. At present, it is affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and thus providing a maximum standard in teacher education programmes. Being an undergraduate college it caters to a small student community numbering 485 students and faculty of 14 that keep the learning environment intimate and conducive to personality and professional development. Nalini Devi Women’s College of Teachers Education has adopted the role of ensuring student acquire all round education adding student facilities to its provision. The library is an important information centre housing vast numbers of education resources. For people who like exercising, there are sporting facilities as a way of maintaining the employees’ health through work life balance. Considering the fact that all the students of the college are females then it has the girls’ hostel facility which offers a safe resident accommodation. A health centre provided with first aid amenities serves essential medical needs of faculty, staff, and students, a large parking area has been provided for the needs of faculty, staff, and students. Nalini Devi Women's College of Teachers Education offers two comprehensive teacher education programmes: Bachelor of Education (B.ED) / Master of Education (M.ED). They are both, full-time courses, each taking two-years and its outcome is the production of competent and knowledgeable teachers. The B.Ed programme which has an intake capacity of 200 students is the flagship programme offered in the college.
