The Mizoram College of Nursing, Aizawl was set up in 2005, and is one of the several nursing colleges provided in the beautiful region of Mizoram in the north eastern part of India. Mizoram College of Nursing currently offers one full-time course: such programmes as the Bachelors of Science in nursing (B.Sc Nursing). This programme of study is spread over four years and is aimed at producing professional nurses with adequate knowledge in principles, practices and management of health care systems. The college has an approved number of intakes for this course at 30 seats; thus, offering the students a small prescribed learning experience. This limited intake facilitates close attention in the teaching process and clinical practice, which are important in nurturing of nurses.
