Mendipathar College, recognising 1971, is one of the most significant education institute situated in Mendipathar, North Garo Hills, Meghalaya. The existing undergraduate programmes at Mendipathar College are quite comprehensible, and the college mostly teaches humanities and social sciences. It offers eight full-time courses that are also known and accredited as eight degree programmes that offer a BA degree with different majors. These include BA Honours courses in English, Garo, Political Science, Economics, History, Education and Philosophy. The college also provides a general BA programme for learners interested in an education without some form of specialisation. All these courses are offered as three-year full-course programmes enabling students to gain professional competence in their respective areas of specialisation.
