Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy Institute of Technology and Science has excellent facilities to help build up the students and their all-round development. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with accommodation for 520 boys and 350 girls. These hostels are equipped with modern amenities with spacious dining halls, recreation halls, and playgrounds. The college also has state-of-the-art laboratories for each department, guaranteeing practical training to the students. MERITS offers a wide range of full-time B.Tech programmes, where each course runs for a duration of 4 years. Five engineering courses provided here include Computer Science and Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering . The admission procedure in MERITS is for selecting the meritorious candidates through different national and state-level entrance examinations. The institute basically accepts the scores of JEE Main and AP EAMCET. These two examinations become the doorway to all aspiring engineers who want to be part of the institute.
