Overview

MEC was set up in 2003, and it is one of the leading colleges in the magnificent city of Bikaner in the state of Rajasthan. Located at Jaipur Road and affiliated to Rajasthan University this newly generation technological institution has been preparing young engineers for more than one and half decade. MEC Bikaner is strategically located on a large piece of land measuring 135 acres that create conducive environment for teaching and learning. Today the college has 180 student population and on the other hand the college has 49 committed teachers. MEC Bikaner offers varied engineering discipline and convenes 9 courses across two degree levels in different fields of technology and engineering education. In MEC Bikaner, students are privileged to enjoy many utilities aimed at fostering learning as well as campus life of the students. The college library is a knowledge centre with staggering books and publications including national and International journals and magazines of engineering sectors, management sciences and literature. Boys hostel have accommodation spaces in three hundred and fifty-five rooms and for girls there have fifty rooms in the girls hostel. The academic programmes of MEC Bikaner are provided at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of engineering. The institute offer five B.Tech programmes in Civil Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering . For the quality consciousness students who want specialiation, MEC provides four M.Tech courses in Digital Communication, Computer Science, Power System and Production Engineering.
