Mahathi College of Pharmacy, Madanapalle, is a premier college for pharmaceutical education. The sanction intake of the B.Pharma programme is 100 students, and for the Pharm.D. programme, it is 30 students, so a total of 130 students are enrolled in a year. The institution again offers four specialties under M.Pharma , for which the intake capacity is 15 in each speciality: Pharmaceutical Drug Regulatory Affairs , Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics , and Pharmacology. This different programme range allows the students to head their education in those places where they have a specific interest within the pharmacy department. Admission to Mahathi College of Pharmacy is mainly provided through entrance examinations. The intake for B.Pharma is based on a good merit score in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, while students desiring to get through in Pharm.D must acquire a proper score in the same AP EAMCET .
