Maryada Purushottam College of Education, Buxar was established in the year 2014 as an affiliated college in Bihar, India. It is a co-educational teacher education institution in Chilhari, Pratap Sagar, on the Patna National Highway No. 84. The College runs within a compact campus of 1 acre and the programmes are approved by NCTE, New Delhi. This institute with 16 faculty members runs two specialized courses in education, opening directly for aspiring teachers and educators. Geared with many facilities to make learning more enriching for its students, this college houses a well-equipped library serving as a knowledge hub possessing a variety of encyclopedias, word books, classics, periodicals, and magazines. Subscriptions are given for research journals by NCTE and CERT. Maryada Purushotam College of Education is focused on only two major courses, related to the stream of education. The courses it offers include Bachelor of Education- B.Ed and Diploma in Elementary Education - D.El.Ed, both full-time two-year courses. Each of these programs has an approved enrollment of 100 seats for a total student enrollment of 200 for the two courses.
