Maharaja Agrasen Teachers Training College Bharatpur was started in the year 2006 as a quality edn institute in Rajasthan. It is a co-educational school situated on Khorki Road, Nagar and occupies a land of 2.37 acres of land. Though this college is an affiliated college, it has received accreditation from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which confirms its obligation of providing good teacher education. It has a total enrolment of 659 students and faculty of 52; it offers four programme specialisation degree. Considering the intent of the institute to produce qualified educators, the institute offers multiple fields of the teaching specialisation for the constantly developing educational system. Maharaja Agrasen Teachers Training College boasts of having made several improvements and development to facilitate student learning in a comfortable environment. The formal educational resource is a well-equipped and completely computerised well-stocked library that provides the readers with a large collection of textbooks, reference and periodical national and foreign materials. For emergencies, we have a health center which has facilities that offer first aid on the same compound. The Maharaja Agrasen Teachers Training College provides four full-time courses in the arena of teacher training education.. The institute begun with total student intake of 350 students for various programmes offered by the institute. The programmes offered are B.Ed , D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed where our goal is to produce professional teachers with complete teaching proficiency. The admission process at Maharaja Agrasen Teachers Training College is well defined and very much clear. For B.ED, BA.B.ED, B.Sc. B.ED classes, The admissions are done through Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) approved by Government of Rajasthan. Same is the case with the D.El.Ed programme where the admission is done after passing the Pre D.El.Ed.
