Madurai Diraviyam Thayumanavar Hindu College (MDT Hindu College), founded in 1878, is a recognised university and is situated in Tirunelveli of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college which is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and at present, is a college of repute and has a history which dates back to 1870s. At present, located at an extensive 83 acres, MDT Hindu College provides a broad variety of 27 courses in 10 programmes. The college has a student population of 1,443 and a faculty population of 89, therefore the college has an ideal student-teacher ratio. The curriculum put in place by the institute offers quality education In different fields of learning across Arts, Science Technological and Commerce streams.
