Late Ramoti Devi Institute of Engineering Ujjain(LRDDIEU) is one of the premier institute located at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This is a co-educational institution that was set in 2008, and the institution has been preparing young people into young engineers for more than ten years. Located at Chajari, Rampura, P.O. Harsoda Tehsil. Various prospectus of the institute include the location friendly enough for enhanced learning as stated by Ghatia. Faculty of LRDIE is recognised and recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which makes it offer the best standard of technological education in line with other institutions in India. Currently the institute has 47 dedicated teaching faculty members who are geared up to give effective education to aspiring engineers and chart out their future. Late Ramoti Devi Institute of Engineering boasts of providing a number of amenities to help make the learning process of the students better. The fully equipped library centre is a learning resource centre whose purpose is to provide resource materials for learning and research. Aware of the growing role of information technology in present day teaching and learning, the institute has put in adequate resources in I.T. facilities to allow students update themselves in their area of specialty. The campus also comprises a cafeteria in which the students can eat and hang out helping in the development of a community in the institute. Engineering can indeed be pursued in different fields and depending on ones area of interest LRDIE has a wide variety of programmes to choose from. The institute at present offers six B.Tech day-time programmes every one of which has a span of four years. These programmes include Civil engineering, mechanical engineering , electrical and electronic engineering, electronics and communication engineering , computer science engineering and computer Engineering/ Information technology . Both courses have an approved intake of 60 students which the institute has agreed to uphold a good student-faculty ratio. This kind of different specialisations will enable the students to select specialisation areas of his/her interests focused on the career issues, which is important in technology advancement.
