Late Pandurang Patil Nursing College was established in the year 2006. It is one of the premier constituent colleges providing nursing education within the state of Maharashtra. The university is affiliated with MUHS Nashik . The affiliated college is situated at State Highway 197, Barsi Takli Road, Kanheri Sarap, Akola in a campus occupying 3 acres. The institute is approved by the Indian Nursing Council. It undertakes various types of courses in nursing at different levels of health care education. With a total strength of 146 students and 16 faculty members, the institution caters to personal attention and quality education that healthcare aspirants give. State-of-the-art facilities would provide comprehensive learning for students. The campus has several well-equipped laboratories. These include Anatomy and Physiology Lab, Community Health Nursing Lab, Maternal and Child Health Nursing Lab, Nutrition Lab, and a Fundamental of Nursing Lab. Each laboratory in the campus is well-spaced, either 900 or 1500 square feet and fully equipped with the latest equipment, manikins, and simulators, whereby students are allowed to train by practice. Late Pandurang Patil Nursing College is equipped with sports facilities and an auditorium for occasions and seminars. Library serves as an ideal information resource centre that will help in the all-rounded growth of the students.
