Late Govindrao Patil College of Education, Darwha, is one of the premier institutes of education situated in Maharashtra and was established in the year 1990. One of the affiliated colleges, which is based in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, has been preparing would-be teachers for more than three decades. Owned, recognised, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the institute is situated on a campus of 4.81 acres of land to provide the right ambience for learning and development. Late Govindrao Patil College of Education mainly works on the teacher training as the institute offers the B.Ed . course. This course is a full-time course that takes two years to complete, during which students are trained to be educators. Having an intake of 50 seats approved, the college admits a number of students each year, affording the school a significant percentage of the supply of teachers in the region.
