Kshatriya College of Education, Kangra, started in 2006, is an affiliated college located in the Indora Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is co-educational and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), primarily offering teacher education. Located on a small area of an 1 acre, the college has two full-time academic courses and 215 cumulative full-time student enrolments. The faculty is composed of 14 members of staff and the institute has been able to maintain a small student-faculty ratio. The college offers numerous amenities, helping to improve the conditions for learning among students. The laboratories are fully stocked with contemporary electronic and other necessary gadgets and equipment required to achieve optimum coverage in the practical sessions that form part of the curriculum. Most specifically, the library acts as a knowledge point for students by providing several forms of educational materials. The college also provides hostel accommodations for students from other towns and cities and the college has hostels for boys and girls, respectively, with a capacity to take over fifty students each. These hostels offer accommodations for student’s chores with air-cooling rooms and modem facilities. It is equipped with a wireless internet connection with the possibility of accessing the internet on campus from early morning till the middle of the night, possessing a connection of 46 MBPS. The B.Ed programme is approved for an intake capacity of 100 students, and the D.El.Ed programme has a capacity of 50 students.
