Krishna Murthy Institute of Management, popularly known as KIM, is an educational institution for boys and girls founded in 2008 at Ghatkesar, Telangana. This affiliated college, located on a 12-acre site, provides an MBA programme for total student enrolment of 180 students. Due to the current faculty strength of 25 members, the college-to-teacher ratio is ideal to focus on students improving their performance. It is quite a young institute, but it has been gradually gaining its position in management education in the region. KIM is situated in Ghatkesar, a growing district of Hyderabad, which provides a conducive atmosphere conducive to learning as well as closeness to one of the leading IT cities in India. She has for those who like sports activities and games exercise equipment and space for both outdoor and indoor games at KIM. There are activities like basketball, throwball, tennis, shuttle, chess, and caroms; the annual sports meet also gives a competitive spirit to such activities. As a result of recognising the value of practical exposure in management training, KIM has set up a variety of laboratories to supplement the conventional knowledge transmission process. Although details of these labs are not given, these may include fields important in today’s environment of business education such as computer applications, data analysis, and financial modelling. Especially for the students who travel from different areas of the city, KIM avails a secure transport system. The institute has 4 omnibuses and 6 large ones and works according to the timing of the college. The city transport facilities, the city buses, and the APSRTC services also connect this campus fully with great transport facilities for the students and staff. Currently, the institute has only one postgraduate programme that includes the Master of Business Administration ( MBA ). This two-year full-time course has a total intake capacity of 180 seats, showing the institute's concern for quality management education. Unfortunately, the figure of graduates is unknown, but by observing this trend of continuous intake every year, one can formulate that there is a regular supply of management professionals in the job market. The selection of students in KIM’s MBA programme is absolutely careful, with equal consideration given to all applicants.
