Koottalumoodu Arulmigu Bhadreswari Devasthanam College of Education, located in a beautiful district of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu has been carving young intensions to become an efficient teacher since its inception in the year 2008. This boys and girls school located at a 5.338 hectare of land offers an environment that produces students with the skills and wisdom of teachers. With the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation on the college and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approval on the college, the institution aspires to be a leading institution that promotes quality education in the region. Currently, the college is in the process of enrolling 127 students and 16 members of faculty, thus students are assured of personalised attention in the acquisition of personal and or professional development. It has facilities within the college to improve the learning outcome of the college students. The institution currently offers one full-time course: The B.Ed itself stands for the Bachelor of Education which is one of the most relevant degree programmes to teach. This two-year programme aims to produce quality and committed professionals in education with an initial allow-ance to accept one hundred students. The B.Ed course is the pioneer programme of the college due to the organisation’s concentration on teacher education. Although the college is currently only offering one degree, the programme’s focus has given the students the necessary training to face the demands of the teaching profession once they leave college. Prospective students are assessed on their performance in the qualifying test that is usually the undergraduate degree.
