Kalpataru First Grade Science College, Tiptur, is an acknowledged college of Tumkur, Karnataka and was established in the year 1961. This is an affiliated college that occupies a vast land of twenty acres, and has been offering scientific education for six decades. It is a NAAC accredited college which defines how important the college is to maintain proper standard in education system. The total number of students of the institute is 1304 and it has 34 faculty members and gives various scientific and computer applications courses. The college offers five unique courses under two degree programmes offering specialisations in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science, Electronics or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Botany or Zoology. Kalpataru First Grade Science College has stood out with the best infrastructures expected to support the learning process of the students.
