The affiliated college, Institute of Management and Advance Global Excellence, was founded in 1998 and is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Although the institute occupies a small area for its campus, it strives to offer quality education in the areas of management as well as computer applications. The Institute of Management and Advance Global Excellence boastsseveral features that aim at customer satisfaction in approaches that aim at improving the experience of the students. The institute has hostels for boys and girls which are very comfortable and safe to live in and which facilitate studying. The hostels are controlled by superintendents known for instilling discipline in residents while ensuring residents feel as comfortable as at their homes. The college is equipped with a state-of-the-art library containing nearly 20,000 books and 200 periodicals, mostly on management and information technology. Facilities available to students include a well-equipped modern computer laboratory with state-of-the-art hardware and software packages which are reinforced with a wireless internet facility within the entire compound. To complement the academic experience, there is an auditorium for events or seminars by students and/orguests. In terms of academic offerings, the Institute of Management and Advance Global Excellence currently provides two full-time undergraduate programmes: BBA – Bachelor of Business Administration and BCA – Bachelor of Computer Applications . Both programmes are structured to take three years of study and training to complete. This lends itself to the possibility of offering unique tutoring and contact between the faculty and students since the class sizes and compositions are considerably smaller. Little information is given about the procedure which students have to go through to be admitted to the Institute of Management and Advanced Global Excellence, but as mentioned earlier, the admission process here is said to be simplified.
