The Institute of Economics and Finance is one of the constituent wings of Bundelkhand University at Jhansi which was setup in 1986. It is situated in the city of Jhansi in the state of Uttar Pradesh has been moulding the future of budding economists and finance experts for more than three decades. The institute has spread across seven courses in four degrees including both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The institute has eleven committed teachers in faculties which cater quality education to the students without any distraction. A total of seven full-time programmes are offered by IEF. Course Offerings. The Institute of Economics and Finance offers a total of seven courses, all of which are full-time programmes. These include three undergraduate programmes and four postgraduate programmes offered in different fields of specialisation in economics, finance and commerce. The institute has a total approved student capacity of 440 capacity to ensure that the institute maintains the ratio of students and teachers in order to enhance learning. In case of under graduate courses such as B.Com Hons and BA Economics Hons, the students are admitted strictly on the merit basis. Other courses may have different requirements; for example, the MFC programme has an entry examination done by the university.
