The Institute of Advance Education and Research, IAER, was established in the year 2012 as an affiliated college based in the hart of Kolkata, West Bengal. It has a campus in the Bengal Intelligent Park, Sector V, Bidhannagar, and has various streams of academic programs running under its umbrella. IAER currently offers 24 courses under 8 degree programs that cater to the increasing needs of an ever-changing education sector. For some courses, the institute conducts an online entrance cum scholarship test called the IAER Common Entrance Test (ICET). It is aimed at providing bright, inquisitive young minds an opportunity from every nook and corner of the country for study in a challenging and diversified academic manner. ICET results are waived for admission to B.Sc in Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc in Critical Care Technology, and B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology.
