Holy Cross College of Education, an Accredited Teacher Education Institution is at Tiruchirappalli which was started in 2008. Located in the centre of the city, Tiruchirappalli, this is an all boys and girls college which focus on training individuals who wish to be teachers in the future. Holy Cross College of Education mission is in-line with providing quality teacher education and offers only one full-time course, the B.Ed programme . This two-year programme has an approved intake of one hundred students and OFC’s policy on small class sizes to facilitate learning. The B.Ed course has been structured in a manner that is to prepare students to be professional teachers, where theory is complemented with practice.
