Located on a vast area of 10.38 acres, GNIET teaches various engineering and management courses across undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and research levels. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, and coming total strength of students is 2397. Having highly qualified 195 faculty members as teaching staff, GNIET also has a proper student-faculty ratio. The institute teaches 11 courses under three programmes, which are the Engineering and Management disciplines. The college is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Regarding physical fitness, the institute provides a gym and sports provision for students, faculty and staff. Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls separately to offer proper living to out-of-station students. Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering and Technology presently teaches a variety of courses, the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral courses comprising of 8,3 and 9, respectively. It offers several branches of B.Tech programmes which include Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics &Telecom Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & machine learning Engineering. At the postgraduate level, GNIET provides Master of Technology in Computer Science Engineering and Embedded Systems as well as Master of Business Administration. All programmes are daytime-based and offer a total of 867 validated places of study. Indeed, the B.Tech programmes take four years; MBA and M.Tech take two years each. The admission process at GNIET is formal, and a major criterion for admission is merit-based, but the admission process is also properly planned. For B.Tech programmes, the institute takes TS EAMCET scores from the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. This examination is part of a competitive entrance examination because it tests the candidates’ ability to take engineering courses. However, no specific dates for admission are declared by the institute, though the TS EAMCET exam dates and results are monitored, while admissions are likely to follow.
