Gracious College of Nursing, Abhanpur, was established in the year 2018; hence, it is relatively a new institute with lots of promises for nursing education. This co-educational college is nestled in the village of Belbhata in the Abhanpur Raipur District of Chhattisgarh. Extended over 5 acres, this institution is affiliated and accredited by NAAC. It is also approved by the Indian Nursing Council, a proof that its programmes are relative to the national standards. Gracious College of Nursing has a total student enrolment of 481, and a faculty strength of 32, and offers a wide array of 8 nursing courses at 3 degree levels, spread across various specialisations in the said field. The Gracious College of Nursing has a number of facilities intended to better the learning experience of students. The library serves as an information hub having a huge number of books, periodicals, and journals that are used as reference materials in in-depth research by students. The arrival of information technology is well catered for with impressive infrastructure; computers are available all day and night, connected to the Internet, to assist the students in computing exercises and research. To add on that, practical training is catered for with well-equipped laboratories, course-specific, and built to accommodate many students during practical sessions. Classrooms are well-spaced and equipped with modern audio-visual aids like LCDs, OHPs, and various teaching models and charts. In the care aspect, separate hostels for boys and girls, a health centre where first-aid treatment is given, and a canteen are provided for the well-being of the students. It also encourages physical fitness and recreation with sports facilities and organises various programmes within its auditorium. Gracious College of Nursing offers all types of nursing courses to fulfil different ambitions related to the healthcare sector. Courses offered are 8 in total, out of which there are undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses; it has a total approved intake of 195 seats in those courses. Such courses of study available at CIPN College include 3 years of General Nursing and Midwifery GNM diploma course, 4 years of B.Sc. nursing degree programme, 2 years of Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing for the registered nurses and several special M.Sc. Nursing programmes such as: Psychiatric Nursing , Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Paediatric Nursing , Community Health Nursing, and Medical Surgical Nursing .
