G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College (GPREC), established in 1984–85, is among the earliest private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Founded by the renowned philanthropist Sri G. Pulla Reddy, it has been an autonomous institution since 2006. The college is run by the G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust, Hyderabad, which was set up in 1977 to serve society.
