Government Tool Room and Training Centre, Udupi

The Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) at Udupi is one of the unique technical institutions catering immense importance towards imparting quality education in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. This is an autonomous college established near Government High School, Kolalagiri Uppoor, Udupi, Karnataka; it is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). But at GTTC Udupi, three diploma courses are offered, each of which has a span of three years, and they specialise in modern subjects of manufacturing technologies. The total enrolment capacity of the institute is 180 students through the various programmes it offers and seeks to produce quality professionals equipped to join the current growing industrial market. The facility in GTTC Udupi has the following facilities that would facilitate the learning of the students. The institute has its own fully furnished and stocked library so that the students get all the technical books and other resources required for their studies. There are three programmes which are a diploma in mechatronics, diploma in precision manufacturing , and diploma in tool and die making.
