Government Polytechnic, Lohardaga is a technical college situated at the Kujra village, Lohardaga district of Jharkhand. This affiliated college provides diploma courses in different sectors of engineering for the students who want to build their career in technical sector . Government Polytechnic located at Lohardaga, Jamtara, an affiliated College of Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi , currently provides Four full time diploma courses - Diploma in Civil Engineering , Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering and Diploma in Mining Engineering each having a tenure of 03 years. These courses offer the students an opportunity to specialize in any branch of engineering of their choice from a roster of diverse choices available to them. The total number of students approved to be intaken in all the courses offered in the university is 240 while each course program takes 60 students.
