Government Polytechnic Kanda, Bageshwar was established in the year 2006 as an affiliated College at Uttarakhand. And then there is one guest room cum waiting room available for visiting faculty and family members of the students; further adding to the hospitality provided by the institute. Government Polytechnic Kanda, Bageshwar offers courses in a short range of focused areas. The college presently offers two full-time diploma programs. The intake for the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is 40 and for Diploma in Civil Engineering is 30, so the total number of seats for both the courses will be 70. Both these diplomas are three-year full-time courses in which good grounding in their respective fields is provided to the students.
