Government Polytechnic for Women, Holenarsipura, was recognised in the year 2019 with the mission to provide technical education to the womenfolk. Affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore, this institutional college has the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approval. The institute has six diploma programmes in different engineering disciplines for a total of 67 intakes. The college has a faculty strength of 10 members, which guarantees requisite attention to the students. The education of women in technical sciences makes the institute the only one in the region among similar establishments. The courses offered are Diploma in Electrical and Electronics , Civil, Computer Science Engineering , Mechanical, Electronics and Communication , and Commercial Practice.
