Government Polytechnic, Chamoli, was established in the year 1979 at Gauchar, Uttarakhand. All prospective students shall be required to appear for the Uttarakhand Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnics ( Uttarakhand JEEP ), which is conducted every year by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee.
