Total strength of the students is 296 whereas faculty strength is 23 that makes student-teacher ratio perfect to focus on the student. Government Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital offers facilities that make the college experience of the students more efficient. An efficient library plays a significant role of a reference and reserve centre which offers a source of medical literature and information. For those who have a leaning towards sports and fitness centres the college provides the following sports facilities. There is also provision for protected and comfortable hostel facility for the out-station students with separate hostels for boys and girls. To enhance practical learning, the college is well facilitated with modern laboratory for each department to enable student practice the practical knowledge in the country. An auditorium in the compound is used in carrying out academic activities, seminars and cultural activities hence enhancing the life of campus. Therefore, the institution’s core academic programme is the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). This course is a large and complete homoeopathic medical course spread over six years, and is compulsory for the homoeopathic medical students.
