Government Home Science College, Hoshangabad (GHSC) is one of the most reputed institution in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. This affiliated college was established in 1961 after commissioning to nurture young minds for the past 6 decades. Located in a sprawling 5.2 acres land GHSC we offer a range of 29 courses across 10 degree programmes to a student population of 4042. The college has a faculty of 23 committed staff and teacher educators including eleven principal and associate professors. The college offers full time courses in various streams of Arts Commerce, Science, and Home Science. Some of the degree programmes includes BA, BBA , B.Com, B.Sc IT, CS, Biotechnology, BHM, and BHS, BHSC. Postgraduate courses available at the college are: MA in economics, Hindi, history, political science, M.com, and M.sc. Also, GHSC offers programmes such as PGDCA for computer education, PGD in Dietetics for nutritionist and Food scientists, and PGD in Fashion Designing for fashion designers.
