Government College of Education was begun in the year 1970, with a near-unanimous understanding of chiselling the pedagogy for years to come. Set close to the Mumbai-Pune Highway in Panvel, Maharashtra, this co-educational institution has been polishing budding educationists into form since the last five decades. Spread over an elite campus of 3.4 acres, the college today accommodates 114 students, making it an intimate learning environment. In all, it offers two full-time courses, namely, B.Ed and M.Ed , which respectively take two years to complete.Number of intakes 50 students in each program for a total intake of 100 students in the two courses.
