Gopalan College of Commerce, Bangalore, also known as GCC, is a reputed commerce and business studies institution that was set up in 2015 and has grown in repute and prestige within a relatively short time. Situated in a small area of 6.3 acres, GCC is an ideal place for learning for its students. At present, the enrolled student population totals 213 students, which is accompanied by a 16-member faculty staff. GCC offers six courses to accommodate different needs in areas of commerce, business administration, arts, and computer science. The college is affiliated with the Bengaluru North University, Kolar . The Gopalan College of Commerce has a variety of quality facilities that would help improve the condition of students in the college. The core of academic facilities is a reading hall stocked with updated national and international journals, magazines, and daily newspapers. It operates as a knowledge base for more than 500 undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programme students and employees. For those with interest in sporting activities, amenities of which are available in GCC in the form of badminton, tennis, soccer, table tennis, a gym, among others. The college seems to embrace technology by having an excellent IT department needed by students in their bid to face the world of technology. In addition, GCC has a cafeteria canteen, an auditorium for events and seminars, and network connections in most of the areas on campus. At the present time, Gopalan College of Commerce was providing six full-time courses , which are at undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. The courses offered by the following include B.Com , BBA, BA, B.Sc. in Computer Science , BVA in Spatial and Interior Design, and M.Com . All these programmes are to be taken in full-time mode, taking a period of 3–4 years for the undergraduate courses and 2 years for the postgraduate courses.
