This is Ghousia Institute of Technology for Women, Bangalore (GITW), which was started in the year 1986. This women’s college is situated in the centre of Bangalore, close to Dairy Circle, Hosur Road; it aims to offer good technical education. An affiliated college, GITW, was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]. The institute is situated in a 3-acre area, and the institute offers engineering courses and diploma courses. Ghousia Institute of Technology for Women, Bangalore, is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and recognised by AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. It has numerous sophisticated infrastructures meant for its academics. The Girls Hostel, which began in 1998, comprises 24 comfortable rooms, including our recent addition of 4 new rooms. The library of Ghousia Institute of Technology for Women is established to provide all the students with the required books and relevant sources. The college also has sports amenities to ensure students' physical health, as they also maintain a proper balance between their academic and sports activities. Technologically advanced Infrastructure facility and Laboratory, along with modern Amenities, enhance the practical exposure in each and every department.
