Gandhi Naturopathic Medical College, named after Gandhi, the father of the nation, was established in 1970 at Hyderabad in the newly formed state of Telangana. This affiliated college is focused on naturopathic medicine, which is an integration of traditional knowledge, beliefs and values in the present modern system of conventional medicine. The class size of the college is small, and there is an authorised strength of 30 students permitted per course for BNYS so as to ensure focused learning.
