Phase 1 of the JET 2024 exam is currently underway, scheduled from April 15 to 16, 2024. The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) was established by the Government of India in 1960 and was formerly known as the “Film Institute of India”. FTII was a department of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India (GOI). In 1971, FTII came into consideration and soon started their service training programmes for DD National (Doordarshan), India’s public broadcaster. Before applying for FTII PGD courses, candidates are required to match the specified eligibility criteria. Also, candidates should have a valid scorecard for the relevant entrance exam. The courses offered at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) include a Diploma in Feature Film Screenplay Writing , Art Direction and Production Design, Sound Recording and Sound Design , Cinematography, Screen Acting and many more. However, if a candidate chooses the TV wing category then in this course they can pursue Direction, Video editing, Sound Recording & Television Engineering and much more.
