Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Girls Polytechnic, Amravati was established in 1983 as a premier institution to impart quality technical education exclusively to girls. The affiliated college is located at Shivaji Nagar, Amravati, Maharashtra, on a 5-acre campus. This institution is approved by AICTE, and it offers two diploma courses . The polytechnic has a strength of 10 faculty members; therefore, the student-to-faculty ratio is excellent, thus providing individual attention and counseling to students.
