The Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Education Academy was founded in the year 2008 and is a speciality institution based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college is committed to delivering postgraduate education in diabetes care and other related disorders. Located on one acre of land in Gopalapuram, the academy currently provides five different programmes leading to three degrees and specialising in diabetology, eye disorders due to diabetes and medical lab technology. Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Education Academy has in place special accommodation to improve the regime of learning of the students. A modern library is a must for any institution of learning because it offers the latest research and information in the area of interest, which in this case is diabetes. The laboratories provided by the institution afford practical exposure, which is paramount to the skills demanded for progressive diagnosis, management and investigation of the complications of diabetes. For the purpose of the comprehensive growth of the academy’s students, there is a gymnasium with appropriate equipment.
