The Doon Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Saharanpur, is a comparatively small college that started in 2017 to impart education in Ayurvedic medicine. Affiliated to the CCIM and situated in Sunderpur, Behat Tehsil of Uttar Pradesh, this is the college established with approvals from the CCIM. Stretched over a campus of 7.7 acres, the current student strength of the institute totals 138. ITM College has a very small number of faculty members that are 8 in number, thus providing close acrms to the students who want to become Ayurvedic doctors. Currently, the institute offers only one program of degree, which states the focus of the institution on Ayurvedic training. Doon Ayurvedic Medical College has an array of structures and equipment intended to facilitate the learning process of the college’s students. A first-class library resource centre provides physical and electronic sources of books, e-journals, databases, etc. Facilities like wireless internet connections are available on campus, and hence students get full access to get online resources. As for the hostels, there are different hostels for the boys’ and girls’ separately, and the hostel also has a vegetarian mess & play areas for the students. The hostels provide single and double-bedded accommodations to the students as per their requirement to establish a conducive atmosphere for learning throughout their tenancy. The Doon Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital provides only one course of BAMS, or the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. This course is a 6-year program and offered for the degree in Ayurvedic medicine in its full tenure.
