DEO College of Education, Hazaribagh, was established in 2008. It is an affiliated college of Jharkhand, India. The college is a co-educational institution that is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This means that it has maintained the quality standards in teacher education. It is located on a compact campus of 0.63 acres. It offers a focused learning environment for aspiring educators. The total number of students enrolled here is 195, and the faculty strength is 13. Thus, it gives personal attention to the students. Currently, the institute offers only one degree program in the area of teacher education. In keeping with this, the institution provides students with facilities and services to develop them into future teachers. The college is quite strong regarding technology as there is an equipped computer laboratory in compliance with NCTE norms and standards.
